About Paul Komarek and Human Intervention |

Paul Komarek guides non-profit agencies, small businesses
and government agencies as they create sustainable community programs that
transform people’s lives. His work involves multiple systems, including
mental health, drug and alcohol treatment, criminal justice, elderly
services, early childhood education, public benefits, and homelessness.
Mr. Komarek writes winning grant proposals, designs sustainable, effective
training programs, and creates highly usable websites. Mr. Komarek also manages client agency efforts to attain certification or accreditation from agencies such as the Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services, the Ohio Department of Mental Health, and the Council on Accreditation for Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). In these projects, Mr. Komarek reviews all existing administrative and clinical protocols, drafts needed administrative materials, and supervises project execution. Mr. Komarek’s educational credentials include a Bachelor’s of Science, with Honors, from the School of International Service, American University. He holds a J.D. cum laude from Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University. He is a graduate of the Grassroots Leadership Academy and The Grantsmanship Center training programs, and has extensive professional training in substance abuse treatment, mental health, non-profit governance, negotiation, and mediation. In addition to his consulting work, Mr. Komarek teaches planning and proposal writing, special education, and child development courses at Cincinnati State Technical and Community College. Effective August 2005, Mr. Komarek's consulting practice changed its name to Human Intervention. |
